Sewing
​
Offering "Sewing 101" to students in grades 4-8. Lessons consist of basic sewing terminology, hand sewing, basic machine use, basic pattern use, fabric study, and history of fashion. Students will create individual sewing projects by hand and machine sewing.
Film History
​
In depth course for grades 4-8. Starting with the beginning of motion pictures, the move to Hollywood, trailblazers in the film industry, silent pictures, talkies, the Golden Era of Hollywood, technicolor, transition to modern films, and technology. We will be watching a lot of movie clips and having fun while we learn!
